Ananova: “Nathan Sawaya, 36, has spent ten years creating his masterpieces from the children’s building blocks.

Now he is crossing the boundary into fine art with his Brick by Brick exhibition, due to open in New York this week.
The former lawyer’s work includes life-size 3D sculptures which can take four weeks to complete.
Each contains as many as 35,000 bricks – all individually glued together – and some have sold for as much as £19,000.
Nathan’s exhibition, based on the human body, will go on show in Manhattan’s Agora Gallery.”
