In early 2010, Aardman Animations set about an ambitious project to inspire the nation’s kids into helping the company create a short animated film. The Tate Movie Project utilised a plethora of platforms to make a truly symbiotic campaign intertwining a huge digital community, online tools, live events, all into an ongoing real production. Daniel Efergan explains how it all came together creatively and technically, and he shared some of their learnings at Power to the Pixel’s Cross-Media Forum, October 2011.
