On Air: Manuel Fanni Canelles (2010)
The ikono On Air Festival is showing Manuel Fanni Canelles’ film “Senza Tela: La morte di Marat”. The work shall be released from his descriptive level to tell the original sense of the painting forcing him dramaturgically and establishing, through the language of the theater, a perceptive misunderstanding between the pictorial and video language code. Safe conduct is returned to the viewer as a white sheet, as if the story had never been written: therefore never happened. What role does the history of art in all of this?
