Annelies Štrba

Annelies Štrba (born 1947, Switzerland) is known for her poetic, incisive family portraits and has always understood, with the help of photography, how to create a dense and confusing universe. In her newest work she goes a step further and uses her videocamera to produce still images, which are digitally colored. She leaves behind all natural and realistic ornament to create images of a surprising strong wonderland.
